El Batta started its journey from Cairo it swam in Zamalek Nile and then went all the way to Mountain View Ras El Hekma in the North Coast on July the 14th. We can tell that El Batta’s journey wasn’t really a simple one, from ‘#Stalktheduck,’ to beach activations, to live concert, El Batta was a whole event that reflected nothing but joy, fun and happiness, a motto that Mountain View has been living by. El Batta was introduced to the world in Zamalek, Cairo where everyone got to take selfies and follow it around. El Batta was going around with a sailing boat (Falouka) and it went around the Nile spreading joy and happiness for everyone around. Later, it made its way all through North Coast to Ras El Hekma. Celebrations took over the place as soon as El Batta arrived beginning with TV host Sherif Madkour waiting for it on the shore along with everyone else from Mountain View Ras El Hekma, and everyone couldn’t help but taking selfies. With El Batta making its very first splash, everyone experienced the real joyful essence of Summer. People got to enjoy the company of the duck along with all the beach activities that you could think of specifically the 100 meter water slide that had everyone channeling their inner duckies and splash their way around. The family event had every member enjoy Summer the way they like, including a Rainfall Arena. Numerous cafes and restaurants were all around the venue for the best refreshments and snacks to give their taste buds a treat throughout the day. For those who weren’t into splashing in the water, there was a promenade bazaar for best summer shopping. The Batta themed night ended with Egyptian superstar Mahmoud El Essily taking the stage and making everyone dance the night away. We can’t really predict if the duck has more surprises for us but we can guarantee that we are full of anticipation!
