L’Oréal Egypt partook “She Can 2018” summit that was held in the Greek campus, with the startling presence of more than 2000 female entrepreneurs specializing in different work sectors. Lucratively affirming the company’s support to the exceptional researchers & scientists women whom received L’Oréal UNESCO For Women In Science Fellowship.
L’Oréal’s presence deliberately created a strong open communication channel between associates from L’Oréal -UNESCO for Women in the Science program and the summit attendees who might be needing inspiration and support from their counterparts. This participation stems from the company’s belief in the importance of empowering the field of science and research, which represents fundamental pillars of L’Oréal’s strategy, and tp specifically empower women in this challenging field.
Accordingly, Nahla Mokhtar, Communication Manager L’Oréal Egypt, prosperously expressed during the panel moderation her proudness stating, “We are honored to present in such remarkably successful event and share L’Oréal’s persistent commitment towards empowering the science field through L’Oréal UNESCO For Women In the Science program”

It was also highlighted during the panel that 2018 marks L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science’s 20th anniversary. Throughout the years, the program granted 3100 fellowship to exceptional female researchers in more than 115 country. Among them, 16 exceptional Egyptian researchers. L’Oréal believes that the world needs science and science needs women.
On a side note, “She Can” summit displays the most substantial female entrepreneurs’ experiences in multiple sectors including education, media, technology and art related industries. “She Can” targeted helping females to overcome challenges related to their personal and professional lives, thus preventing inequality concerns, in addition to providing imperative advice on the optimum tools required for successful entrepreneurship.
